Can teething make baby sleepy:

Teething could prove to be the most bothering phase in your infant's growing process. This is the stage when the baby is on the verge of developing teeth and the immergence of them causes an irritation in and around the gums. Factually teeth start budding right in the womb the break through occurs usually when the baby is four to seven months old.

The common snag areas:

The common symptoms the toddler might experience are excessive
Drooling, which may source a face rash. The gums could encounter a possibility of swelling and become overly sensitive. The child could become tetchy and fussy due to the irritation in his gums. And if the child turns out to be short tempered then other problems like refusing to eat, biting behavior and sleep trouble may further ignite the toddler's crisis. One misconception commonly apprehended by parents is that teething causes fever, diarrhea or vomiting. These are not traditionally caused due to teething, but may creep up on your child if you are careless regarding the hygiene or an infection appearing during that period, since the child is vulnerable to contagion this time around.

The rescue boat:

Now you must wonder, what can I do to reduce my baby's dilemma and pain? Well, there are quite a few things you could adhere to. You may give the child something to chew on like a firm rubber teething ring or a cold washcloth. Make sure the quality of the rubber teething ring is of the highest degree, as you would not like to take any kind of chance with your child's health. The cold washcloth will help in easing his irritation just as ice lemonade relieves us on a hot day! If your baby is old enough to consume solid foodstuff then you can go ahead and give him some applesauce or yogurt. Providing him with a hard not-so-sweet cracker is also a safe bet, since you can't keep feeding him all day long, which might give him a stomach ache some point of time. In a very rare case if all the above techniques don't seem to be working you can always give a doctor recommended children's pain reliever like the infant's acetaminophen. And most importantly, "don't worry" teething is a something, which every child goes through. Just follow the care procedure and you'll sail through it smoothly.
